WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO THE WALL 😳 HOW TO USE SCRIBBLE GRID TO SCALE UP A MURAL…. This is always the funniest part of the process. Seeing people’s genuine confusion/ disgust. There’s artists who use a lot less lines than me but I like to have fun and make it inclusive, so it generally gets very busy 😂 WHAT TO DO: 1. Prepare your digital design (I use procreate) 2. Use a spray can, chalk (wipes off the easiest) , charcoal or paint to mark up the wall (this can be lines symbols, shapes etc). In areas of higher detail make the markings closer together, for less detail use BIGGER and less markings. 3. Take a photo of the wall (make sure it is square, angles with warp the design) 4. Overlay the design and make it transparent. I usually use 2 different levels of opacity (40,60%) and I have a colourful and grayscale option. 5. Save this image and use it as a guide. For example the letter A, the ear of the tiger might fall there! Draw your outline and piece the puzzle together. You can also use the wall markings/imperfections as a guide, bricks window etc! They’re essentially a grid! Let us know if you have any questions.
