thedisturbingpage VIEWER WARNING: DISTURBING FOOTAGE AND A REAL MISSING-PERSON CASE. "HI WALTER! I GOT A NEW GIRLFRIEND TODAY!" - THEN HE OPENED THE DOOR. In October 2009, a strange You Tube video showed a man named Patrick excitedly talking about his new girlfriend. But when he opened a door, viewers saw a terrified woman screaming for help. Years later, the video resurfaced when people noticed similarities between the woman and Kayla Berg, a 15-year-old girl who disappeared in Wisconsin in August 2009. The internet feared the footage might reveal what happened to her. But in 2016, police confirmed the video was staged and had no connection to Kayla's disappearance. The video was fictional. Kayla's disappearance was not- and her case remained unsolved. A disturbing internet mystery that fooled thousands, but never answered the question that mattered most.
