TREVOR BAUER HAS A POINT… STOP WASTING MONEY ON SHOWCASES! 👀💰 Parents and young ballplayers, we need to have this conversation! If you’re not already a highly ranked prospect, spending hundreds or even thousands of dollars chasing exposure at showcase camps might not be your best investment. Here’s the reality: Exposure means nothing if you’re not ready to be evaluated. College coaches and scouts are looking for players who meet specific recruiting needs. Showing up to a showcase doesn’t guarantee you’re going to get noticed. And if you’re still developing your mechanics, velocity, strength, or overall baseball IQ, that money might be better spent on quality training, getting stronger, and playing meaningful games. Now, I’m not saying showcases are completely useless. The RIGHT showcase, at the RIGHT time, can open doors. But parents, don’t confuse paying for exposure with actually being recruited. Develop the player FIRST. Chase the exposure SECOND. 💯⚾ 💬 Parents and coaches, are showcases becoming more about player development or making money off families chasing a dream? #CoachJoelBaseball #TrevorBauer #BaseballRecruiting #YouthBaseball #HighSchoolBaseball
