My husband had a virtual follow up appointment with his doctor this morning

My husband had a virtual follow up appointment with his doctor this morning that I attended with him to ensure that he is receiving nothing but the very best medical care. And during this appointment, his doctor asked him if he had the chance to schedule an endoscopy that the doctor referred him for at the last appointment. And he asked if the hospital called him to schedule it. And my husband responded, no, I haven't received any phone calls. And the doctor was like, hmm, that's odd. I'll look into it. We continued on with the appointment. I thought it was rather successful. And then shortly after the appointment, I got a missed call from his doctor's office, and I am not a patient there. And so I thought, hmm, that's odd. But I thought maybe they have like, an insurance question or something because I'm the subscriber on our plan. And so I called them back to find out what's going on, and they asked for my date of birth. I'm actually not a patient with you guys, um, but my husband is, and so I'm thinking it might be about him. Do you need his date of birth? And she was like, oh yes, I know why we called you. The doctor found out that the hospital actually has been calling your husband to schedule the endoscopy, and he just hasn't responded. And so he thought it would be best if we called you and asked you to schedule it for him. So anyway, he's having his endoscopy next Wednesday. We're really excited.
