My mother called me this morning and she goes, Jenna, I have got to tell you about the night that we had last night, okay? She proceeds to tell me that she sleeps with her phone right next to her with the ringer on high, so that if there was ever an emergency, people could get a hold of her. Fair. But her phone rang at three in the morning, and she grabs it quickly, and she looks at it. She doesn't have her glasses on. She thinks she sees my sister's name, but she answers it quickly, and she says, hello? No response. So she says, hello? Are you okay? Are you okay, Britney? Britney? Nothing on the other end. So she eventually hangs up. And then she calls my sister back. She calls her back three times in a row. No answer. And then my mom says, well, maybe it wasn't Britney. Maybe it was your mother. To my dad. So then they call my grandmother. No answer. And then my mom says, I really think it was Britney who called. We should go check on her. So her and my dad get up, get dressed, hop in the car, and drive to my sister's house at 3 in the morning. Right as they get to her house, my grandmother calls them back and says, hey, is everything okay? I have a missed call from you. Oh, and by the way, I think I may have Butt dialed you earlier, I guess. My grandmother wakes up between three to 4 in the morning. That's just her normal wake up time now. And so they're like, okay, mystery solved. It was her that called. We can go home. They start heading home, but then my dad's like, mmm, something's not sitting right with me. I think we should still check on Britney. So they go back to her house, and he asks my mom, do you have a key? And my mom's like, we can't use the key if it wasn't her that called. And we just use the key and go in her house. We're gonna scare the crap out of her. So my dad gets out of the car and starts walking around her house. He goes into her backyard, her bedrooms on the first floor, looks through her bedroom window and sees her sleeping and decides, okay, we can go. We can go home. She's safe. She's safe. My mother tells me this whole story, and I'm like, why the. Why didn't you look at your call history to see who called you?
