I used to lean on screens a lot in parenting until I realized it's really not that hard to keep your kids entertained without them, especially after school when they've already spent so much of their day learning and being on screens. Lately, I've been trying to make our afternoons screen-free and honestly, it's been so much easier than I expected. I've been keeping a few activities on hand, whether it's something creative, a little game, or just getting her involved in everyday things around the house. The Scruff-A-Luvs Unicorn is one of my daughter's favorites and an activity that always keeps her busy. Sometimes, all they need is something fun to do, a little imagination, and some one-on-one time.
