Edward Snowden says if you look at a copy of 1984 on Amazon, the NSA can see a record of that — and so can every other intelligence service — because browsing stays unencrypted by default. At TED2014 he argued the biggest thing internet companies can do is enable SSL on every page, and that "nothing to hide" is how you give up your rights. People should be able to buy a book online without wondering how an agent will misread it years later. #techtok #entrepreneur #snowden #privacy #nsa #security #ai #business #fyp #encryption
