Is law school worth it financially? A $100,000 lawyer salary doesn’t tell the whole story. This simulation compares lawyers, doctors, college graduates, and workers without degrees from ages 18–30. Lawyers spend seven years in higher education before entering the profession. Meanwhile, others are already earning money and building their careers. By age 30, our hypothetical lawyer has accumulated $326K in gross earnings minus student debt, compared with $535K for the college graduate. This isn’t net worth or a prediction of actual career outcomes. It’s a comparison of delayed earnings, education debt, and the opportunity cost of professional degrees. #LawSchool #LawyerSalary #StudentLoans #PersonalFinance #CareerComparison
