If you're ever 20 years old and you still don't know how to curl your hair, this is my automatic curler and you need to give it a try. When I say this cuts down my hair time from normally trying to wrap a curling iron to get symmetrical curls for 30 minutes on my head to 15 minutes, I now curl my hair way more. It literally has like two functions: a switch so you can always make sure it's curling away from your face and the button to make it spin. All you do is section your hair out, brush it, and then stick it in the top of the machine and let it do its thing. Now there are so many mixed reviews from people that have purchased this, so I wanted to slow down my videos to show exactly how I'm doing it. I also like to tell my mom friends this is a good one for beginners because the heat is in the middle of the machine. It doesn't mean that it doesn't still get warm or hot, but it's not going to fry you like other machines. And as you can see, the little holes on the outside, that's actually blowing a little bit of air out so it's setting the curl as it goes. If you notice, I've switched up the technique in this clip, I'm doing a U-tuck. Some people were saying the machine was pulling their hair. Do not let it do that. First of all, there are arrows that show you where to put your hair and you do want to put it in the right way, but if you do feel any tension, just drop that part of the curl. Because of the way this curling iron is made, that hot iron in the middle, it doesn't matter for your hair to wrap all the way around it like a normal traditional curling iron. Because once your strand of hair has passed through the hot plate in the middle, that part is curled. It's done. That's what makes it work so fast as well. It's also less damaging on the hair because your hair is passing by the heat and not just sitting on it like a traditional iron. With a traditional iron, you wrestle with each strand of hair to make sure they're all wrapped perfectly the same way and then it has to sit there for what 6 to 8 seconds. That's one of the reasons I absolutely love this one. For having a naturally kind of wavy straight hair, I have my hair curled way more, probably like 30% more than I ever do normally. I mean your girl is a stay at home mom and I don't have a lot of reasons to dress up, but I do like to put together and feeling confident. And when I say my hair lasts, some people were saying their hair does not last, it definitely depends on your climate and it depends on your type of hair. If you get the strands right in this machine and your hair is good at holding a curl, maybe it's a learning curve, but once you get past that, I'm telling you if I don't wash my hair for 5 days, I will have some version of a wave from this curling iron until I wash it. If you have questions about one you already own, drop a comment and I'll try to do a comment reply. If you don't own it, they do have a sale running right now, I'll have it linked below.
