So you want big voluminous curls like this. But you don't have a ton of time. You don't really know how to curl your hair and those automatic curling irons they intimidate you. So if you want to watch an actual hair tutorial and not just someone just trying to sell you a curling iron, keep watching because I'm going to do the tutorial, show you how I did this and I'm going to show you that this doesn't have to be intimidating. First, we're going to turn it on. This is the power button. To turn it on, you simply hold down for a couple seconds and then you can see the temperature light starting to blink. If you would like to change the temperature, you just click that power button and you can increase or decrease the temperature. This button is for the fan. Once this heats up, it's automatically going to turn on for you. Next, we're going to prep our hair. First by sectioning it. I like to do three sections. One on the top, then I drop it down, take another section, leaving the bottom out to curl first. Next, we prep with our heat protectant and brush through so you don't have any tangles in your hair. Now what makes this tool unique is it's actually curling your hair like a flat iron would. Your hair is going to slide through these two hot plates. It's not curling because it's wrapping around the outside. The heating element is on the inside. This button rotates the machine. This button changes the direction of the rotation. So you're going to take your section. You're going to slide it in the slot. Your thumb is on the rotate button and you're simply going to press and it is going to do the curling for you. Look at, I'm not even having to move my wrist or my hand. And when your hair goes through, it's curled beautifully. Taking another section, sliding my hair between the two hot plates, hitting the rotate button. It does all of the work for me. It's not getting stuck and when it's done, beautiful curls. But how do you do the back? Take your section from the back, bring it forward. You don't need to try curl our hair back here. Just bring it over here. Slide your hair in the slot, hit the rotate button. Now I'm curling the back of my head without killing my shoulder. Perfect. Now I like my curls to go away from my face, so I'm going to switch the direction. Slide my hair between the plates and hit the rotate button. This is curling my hair so quickly because I'm not having to hold the heat on my hair. It slides through and when it's done, it's done. There's no wait time. With a traditional curling iron, you wrap your hair up and then you have to wait, right? You count five, 10 seconds. You have to wait till your hair heats up and then you release the curling iron. With this, there is no wait time. Now we take down our section, we apply our heat protectant, we make sure there's no tangles and we continue curling. I should note how you hold the tool is important. You want to make sure the iron is held vertically. If you try hold it horizontally, watch what happens. The hair does get stuck. If that happens, you just slide it out. So instead, hold the curl vertically so that it can twist your hair all the way around and it doesn't have too much tension. And when you're done, she's gorgeous. This is what it sounds like with the fan on. I intentionally had shut it off simply because I don't think you guys like to listen to me over this fan, but it's not that loud. So you're not going to wake up your whole house if you're curling your hair in the morning. But there's a reason for the airflow. These vents are actually blowing cool air. So as it's curling your hair, it's setting your curls. So you don't have to wait as long once it's curled for them to set. It's doing it while it's curling it. Seriously, the fastest curling iron ever. Sectioning is important too. You don't want to grab a section that's huge. It's just too much hair for the iron to be able to work with. Besides, the general rule is you never want to take a section that's any wider than the tool itself. Slide my hair in the slot, hit the button and let it do its thing. I love the fact that you don't have to twist your wrist. If you have any wrist issues, you have any carpal tunnel, you've had any procedures, surgeries, arthritis, this is a game changer. No twisting, no cranking, no needing to know any crazy curl techniques. You slide your hair in the slot and you hit the button. It literally couldn't be any easier. Now for my mohawk section, I do like big volume. So I am going to do a little bit of backcombing to make sure I get plenty of lift. I'm going to split my hair into a couple sections, slide my hair into the slot and let it curl. Let it curl, let it curl, let it curl. And when it's done, it's beautiful. Now I'm going to switch the direction for the other side. Slide my hair in and let it do its thing. No twisting, no hurting my shoulder, no hurting my wrist, just getting beautiful curls. I'm going to continue this up the middle of my head. Now for the bang section, I like these to be a little bit softer. I take my section, let it do its job and I'm going to do this fairly quickly and I'm going to leave my end out a little bit and I'm just going to simply pull through. So it's a little flatter, not as spiral. Flip the direction and do the same thing on this side, letting it go through, leaving my ends out and simply pulling it through. I like to finish my styles with a little bit of hair oil. I'm just going to finger comb through this and we're going to fluff it up and we are going to watch this turn into a beautiful voluminous curly hairstyle. Take this, flip that, comb through. You could use a brush if you wanted these to be curled out more. I like to actually see the curl. And seriously, look at that hair. This is the result. If you want beautiful curls but you've never been able to master a normal curling iron, an automatic curling iron does all of the hard work for you. It is big, it is bouncy, the curls are shiny, tons of volume, beautiful curl patterns and it didn't get stuck in my hair once, girl.
