I'm clearly in the wrong business 😭 One Dallas mom built a business decorating more than 1,300 porches with pumpkins, and she does it in just a few months a year. Heather Torres launched Porch Pumpkins in 2020 after neighbors kept asking her to recreate the fall displays on her own front steps, and she ended that first season with about 250 homes. Last season, her team planned to decorate more than 1,300 homes across Dallas Fort Worth, Houston and Austin, with packages running from $325 to over $1,000. Orders open in July, and in past years they've sold out within weeks. Fox News reported back in 2024 that the business was already bringing in over $100,000 a year.
