8 years ago I got my first liver transplant. 5.5 years ago, my time was halfway up and I didn’t know it. two years ago I got my second liver transplant after a tough first one, multiple stages of rejection and 7 months of failed treatment plans. my only plan was to not get a second transplant, and yet here we are two years later… I often wonder why I’m here, why it worked out the way it did. lots of people say god has a bigger and better plan, but I like to think I have a purpose within myself not accounted for by a greater being. but by my perserverence, my will power, my efforts and ambition and motivation and resilience. I don’t think it’s fair to credit all of this to god, I credit it to my donors. and a couple other people in my corner 🤍 anyway two years yay hopefully this isn’t halfway again #fyp #foryou #livertransplant #recovery #chronicillness
