The reality of leading a country through war... President Zelenskyy describes facing one of the world’s largest militaries as Russia invaded Ukraine, explaining how he stayed focused on what needed to be done rather than giving in to fear. He spent the first days making decisions, coordinating with the military and calling world leaders to secure weapons and support for Ukraine. It was only days later, when things began to slow down, that he fully processed the tragedy of what had happened. (President Zelenskyy was recorded in Ukrainian and dubbed in English.)
