And if you don't already know, tartar is a common cause of gum disease, tooth decay, bad breath, and discoloration in your teeth, which most people do not get their teeth deep cleaned often enough. This is an ultrasonic tooth scaler and it's helped me save so much money in between my dental visits. It doesn't hurt and it has a safety feature that won't allow it to work on anything that's not your teeth, not even on your gums.
