It’s Day 1 of our 3-Day Midterm Break Series, and today we focused on sensory play! 🌸 Sensory activities help babies and toddlers make sense of the world through their senses. They provide opportunities to develop fine motor skills, strengthen hand muscles, improve coordination, build focus and encourage early learning, all while having fun. From jelly animal rescue and sock washing, to a gari treasure hunt, a feed-the-bears counting game and homemade washable paint, we had five different activities that kept little hands busy and learning. And the best part? You don’t need expensive toys or complicated setups to create meaningful learning experiences at home. Learning doesn’t have to be complicated.
