Day 2 of our 3-Day Midterm Break Series! 🌸 Today, we’re exploring fine motor activities for toddlers using simple materials you probably already have at home. From sensory excavation and gelatin animal rescue to Play-Doh exercises, number tracing, colour matching and creative play, these activities are designed to help little hands get stronger while developing important skills. Fine motor development goes beyond learning to hold a pencil. It also involves building finger strength, improving hand-eye coordination, developing a pincer grasp and preparing little hands for everyday tasks like writing, drawing and feeding themselves. And the best part? Learning doesn’t have to be complicated or expensive. Sometimes, all it takes is a little creativity and everyday materials. Save this for your next activity day, and share it with a mum who needs ideas to keep her toddler engaged during the holidays! Come back for Day 3! ❤️ #ToddlerActivities #FineMotorActivities #LearningThroughPlay #MontessoriAtHome #MidtermBreakActivities
