Why it worked

The video leverages the 'shopping hack' trope, positioning the creator as a helpful advocate who saves the viewer money, which builds trust and drives clicks to the affiliate link.

Summary

The creator films herself in a retail store, pointing out the high price of a Toniebox and encouraging viewers to use a discount link in her bio to purchase it for less.

Structure

1Creator identifies the product in a retail store
2Creator highlights the high retail price
3Creator offers a discount link in her bio
4Creator encourages viewers to use the link before buying

& this is why no one shops in store anymore — tonie box 2 #toniebox

Product placement

Toniebox (a) acts: the creator shows the product in-store, points to its price tag, and directs viewers to a link in her bio to purchase it at a lower price. Removing it would change the entire purpose of the video.

Call to action

I'm going to pop a link down below that I saw on my account that I have a coupon that brought this way down right here for you.
