why do random childhood memories from kindergarten suddenly come back to you decades later 😭 i randomly remembered getting the flu in kindergarten, missing the day my class made shortening bread, and waking up on the couch feeling like i had absolutely no idea what day it was or what was going on 💀 like why is this memory still in my brain but i can barely remember what i did last Tuesday??? and the fact that i missed out on making shortening bread with my entire class makes this childhood memory even more tragic lmao. the weirdly specific memories from being a kid that randomly resurface are so funny because you forget about them for YEARS and then suddenly you’re right back there. childhood nostalgia is such a strange thing because it’s never the big moments you expect to remember. sometimes it’s literally being sick on the couch in kindergarten and missing a random classroom activity 😭 #childhoodmemories #childhoodnostalgia #memoryunlocked #fearofmissingout #rememberingyourchildhood
