Honestly, every fiber of my being wants to gatekeep this place because I don't think that many people know about it, but this is the Texas State Surplus store and it's literally a Costco-sized warehouse filled with furniture, office supplies, and seriously, anything you can imagine for ridiculously cheap prices. I believe most of this stuff comes from government buildings and offices throughout Texas and most of it is in near-perfect condition. When I went, they were having a $5 sale on bookcases and they have fully assembled desks for around $10 to $30, and the employees are super friendly and will help you load stuff into your car. If you're on a budget, I seriously think you could furnish an entire living room, home office, or dining room for less than $100, which is insane. It's quickly become one of my favorite places in Austin to browse, so you should definitely go check it out.
