I don't understand Apple's new iPad. Apple just announced a new entry-level iPad. Has a new design that puts it more in line with the iPad Mini and iPad Air. It's a 10.9 inch liquid retina display now. It switched to USB C and supports Wi-Fi 6. All of this on paper sounds like a great iPad, especially with the inclusion of the A14 Bionic chip. Here's the problem. It costs $449 now instead of the old price of $329. At $329, this was a tablet that I was able to recommend this iPad to everyone. It's a great student iPad, a great iPad for families. Unless you're doing super intensive stuff on your iPad, this was a tablet for everyone. But at $449, this becomes an extremely expensive tablet that I'm not sure who it's even made for. This redesigned iPad would have been amazing at $329. But I guess Apple couldn't stop themselves from being a little greedy in this situation. They're even pushing their magic keyboard for this iPad, but that costs another $250. This makes this an extremely expensive tablet that I'm not sure who it's even made for. This redesigned iPad would have been amazing at $329.
