The new home screen on the iPhones are going to start looking like starting an iOS 16.

The new home screen on the iPhones are going to start looking like starting an iOS 16. But let's go ahead and customize once you can see all the new features that are going to be on it. So when you long press you're going to get this brand new home screen customizer. When you press plus, this is a whole bunch of pre-made home screens already made by Apple. You can of course go through and select your own images and however you want to set it up. But let's go ahead and use a pre-made one. We're going to go into weather and astronomy. There's this moon one I think looks really cool. When you press on it you can see the moon actually goes above the clock. I like this look. But if you're still not happy with this look you can actually press on the clock and go ahead and start to change the font and the color. You can see here I'm just quickly going through the available fonts right now. And you can see they they do change a lot and they really do change the look of the home screen. So I like this one a lot. Plus with the moon you can change the color of the text and of course you can change the hue of that color as you can see here by changing this little slider. But I do think the default did look the best against the moon. So we're going to select that. And then above it we have the date and then the moon cycle. So if you press on that you can actually change what widgets go above the clock. Now I do think this looks good but if we just want to test things out let's go ahead and switch it over to just the temperature of the weather or even your fitness activity, your calendar, your sun events. But again I do like the default so I just took it back. And you can see there's a third field that's kind of hidden there behind the moon. But there is a third area that is another area where you can actually put more widgets. Now obviously this is a phone that I don't use daily so there's not a lot of apps on here. So you don't have all the widgets you can put in here. But these are the default ones that come on our iPhone when it's stock. So here I'm going to go and press a weather widget and I'm going to add a calendar widget here as well. Now when you do add these two widgets to the bottom you do actually move the clock above the moon. So an image that would go over it does actually push the clock up top. So if you do want to change to be like the clock behind all you have to do is delete the two widgets that you added here to the bottom and it will put the clock again behind the moon. I like this look a little bit more so I'm going to sacrifice two widgets so we can have that. All you got to do is hit done and you can also customize the home screen. And this is just changing the color of the background if you want to use the image or a different color or image for the home screen. I'm going to go and leave the image of the moon. You can also blur it as well if you wanted to see the text on screen a little bit better. And once you press done, well it's finished. So here's the first home screen that we have. We'll swipe over to the new one we made and I got to admit it does look really good. But this is what the new home screen customizer is going to look like in iOS 16.
