Epic Games is still trying to fight Apple over their close system when it comes to app distribution on iOS devices. Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeny just said to the verge that Apple's 30% App Store tax is an absolute monopoly. He said and I'm going to quote here, "Yes, Apple built the iPhone hardware and they designed iOS and they deserve to earn a fantastic return by selling their devices with their operating system. He continues with, but what they cannot do under the law and under any principles of fair competition is Apple cannot use its control over the hardware and operating system to impose trade restrictions on-related markets. Apple prevents other companies from establishing competing stores on iOS. That's similar to the rails blocking the oil refineries from shipping their products on the rail road in order to take over those related industries. What do you think? Does Tim Sunny have a point here or should Epic just given to Apple?
