Look, Apple is screwing us over with the price of the new iPad. So instead of buying that, here are the iPads that you should be buying. The new iPad is priced at $449. So, instead of paying for that for a starter iPad, you can just buy a refurbished 4-G iPad Air. It has a same A40-year-old chip, it has a better screen. It supports the second generation of Apple Pencil while the iPad only supports the first. And from Apple's refurbished store, it's only priced at $469. So, only $20 more for a much better iPad and all of Apple's refurbished devices come with the same warranty as a brand new one. Now, here's the right option though. It's buying a brand new 50-gen iPad Air. On Amazon, you can buy them for $5.19 instead of $600 through Apple Stores. The main difference here is the iPad Air has a M1 chip instead of the A140 Bionic, which would make this iPad Air just way faster. So both these options are better than the base model iPad, but stick to a new 50-gen Air and avoid the other iPad entirely.
