Comp Sci grad school projectsnso I just finished my first semester of Computer Science grad schoolnand these are some of the projects that I worked onnso I took 2 classesnthe first one is called Machine Learning for tradingnwhere the Ultimate Goal is to write a Machine Learning Model to Predict Stock Pricenand try to beat the marketnwe use Python in this classnwith all the standard data science librariesnand have to develop the machine learning models ourselvesnI went with a decision tree based modelnand here is the resultnto be honestnI don't think I did it rightnbecause the performance was terriblenbut I was severely burnt out by this pointnthis was the best I gotnI might revisit this in my own time in the futurenand implement a Q learning modelnwhich should provide a better resultnthe other class I took was a data visual analytics classnwe did multiple smaller projects working on things like SQL queriesnbuilding web based data visualizationsnwith the d3 JS librarynSparks, HadoopnAWS and so onnthe capsule project in this class was a group projectnwe made a web appnthat integrates a machine learning modelnto recommend books to usersnand for each recommendationnwe have the scatter plot that allow the user to explorenthe recommendationnthis is made with vanilla Javascript on the front endnflask on the back endnSQLite to storenGoodreads book data setnand everything is servednusing docker
