How to be an HTML GOD

I used to hate writing HTML. All the opening and closing tags just annoys the heck out of me. Until I learned Emmet. Emmet is just a plugin that allows you to write shorthand syntax for your HTML and CSS that allows you to go blazingly fast. If you use VS Code, Emmet has already come pre-installed. And here's how you can use it. In an HTML file, if you press exclamation mark and press enter, you will get the basic HTML structure. Then for any tags that you need, you don't need to type out the open angle bracket, tag name, close angle bracket and so on and so forth. That's not coconut oil. Instead, just type the tag name and press enter. Bam. You have the tags written out and your cursor right in the middle, ready to spread them tags wide open with more HTML content. If you want to create something with a class name, type out the tag name, follow with a dot, just like a CSS selector. Then write your class name out and press enter, and then you have your tag written out. Same thing with IDs. You can use hashtag instead. I hope you can see the value here. So much less typing, so much more time for you. And there's so much more you can do with Emmet, but I'm not going to be able to go over them all in this video.
