So you have a winning idea for an app, but you have no idea where to start. What should you do? Step one would be to understand who are the users of your potential application. Who is this app for? Who is the audience? What problem for them am I solving? Or maybe it's something more simple as you know, it can save them a lot of time. So that's step one, defining what it is that you want to do for the people that you want to do it. Once you have that, you will start to have the beginning of some features and some workflows that you can start to bring into the idea phase. So in the idea phase, you want to start gathering all of the user information and the different features and workflows that would go into building the application. The next phase would be so once you have an idea of what it is that you want to build and who it is for, it might be time to talk to either a freelancer or an agency about designing your application. Design is the first step in the building process, and you need to have a fully fleshed out design before you go into development. Going through the design process first will help you flesh out some of the areas where you're not quite sure how it's going to work. And even once you get through the design, to find that once you develop and launch the application, you're going to get feedback from users. You're going to change your mind about what is the best way to develop this workflow for those users. To give you the information that you need to create better workflows. Now, once you have everything through the design phase and you've got a pretty solid understanding of what your MVP or your minimum viable product is going to look like, it's time to start talking about development. And understanding the timeline, budget and launch dates that you're going to have for your new product. On the flip side of that, so that's the building, you need to also have an understanding of how you're going to actually get people to start using the application. So you may have a beta or a trial kind of time period where people can sign up for free, use it, submit feedback. May reach out to an influencer or another group of users that might be interested in trying out the application and giving you feedback being an initial set of users for the app.
