COMPUTER SCIENCE LAPTOP RECOMMENDATIONS The best laptops for a computer science major. When I was in college, I had the Huawei Matebook X Pro, okay? This is banned. It is banned in the US, okay? In lieu of this laptop, what would I recommend? I've been using an Apple M1 MacBook Air, 8 GB RAM, 512 SSD, and it's been really, really good so far. As somebody who has been doing projects on the side, I've had zero compatibility problems except for one with Docker. Do I think you need the Pro? I don't think the Pro is definitely a lot, especially for computer science major, not to mention extremely expensive. I also got a good deal on mine by forcing my friend to give it to me for a decent price. Thank you. BUDGET FRIENDLY OPTIONS. If you're on more of a budget, I would recommend looking into Dell's laptops as well as Lenovo. Also Windows 11 😍😍😍 we stan! You don't need anything too crazy, but you definitely get a lot more bang for your buck with these two brands.
