Transitioning To Corporate America...

Something people don't tell you about corporate America, at least I wasn't made aware is how quickly you have to go from college student to appearing like you have your shit together. And now it's two years ago since I signed my software engineering job and like I agreed to become one officially, whatever. I still don't feel qualified. And like yeah I went to college, have a computer science degree and all that, but I they didn't teach me anything. I I was in religion classes half of the time. And because of this, whenever my manager is talking about Hey, we have this really important feature. Like we're going to lose our jobs if it doesn't get done like yesterday. You know, I'm sitting there in the meeting, turn my ears off. I'm like, yeah, whoever has to do that, a lot of pressure. That fuck sucks. Good luck though, right? Ears turn back on. Hey, Kobe, I think you have the band with to pick this up. I'm sitting there in the camera, Zoom camera. Calm, cool, collected. Like I've been there before. Yeah, I got y'all. In the Nugget though, I'm like, bro, I don't even trust myself. to make the right doctor's appointment for myself. And you're trusting me with this. Yeah, yeah, we're going to fuck around and break out, I guess. But at the same time, like that's just life. Like that's nobody's ever told me like that's just life. One day you go from barely getting out of bed till like you got the team on your back. Like no LeBron. Like that's just how it is.
