Make Money With Coding
0) Sell Courses
If you know at least one programming language and you have experience with it, you can teach it to others by creating a course or ebook.
A lot of people want to learn how to code, so why shouldn't you be the one to teach them?
You can add your course to online learning platforms such as Udemy and Coursera, and start making sales!
1) Social Media
In today's society, the use of social media has become a necessary daily activity. However, a lot of people use them for education!
You can start a YouTube channel and create videos showing people tips and tutorials on coding.
The more your channel grows, the more views you'll get and eventually the more you'll earn.
2) Blogging
Starting a blog has very low start-up costs, but there are a lot of methods to monetize it as a programmer, such as:
Google adsense
Affiliate marketing
Paid reviews
Offering your coding skills
Sponsored posts
Paid premium content
3) Freelancing
You can sign up on freelance websites like Fiverr, Upwork and Toptal and offer your services.
However, it's not that easy and it takes quite a long time to start making good money, especially if you have no experience. It's not impossible though!
You need to get certified, get ratings, get reviews from different clients to get jobs. Dream big, but start small!
4) Competitions
Some online coding contests can offer job breakthroughs, cash rewards or other prestigious prizes to the winners.
It's definitely worth participating, and even if you don't win, you get to meet new people and acquire new skills during the competition.
Some examples are Reply Challenges, TopCoder, HackerRank and CodeChef.
5) Sell Software
Software is a digital product, which means there are less financial risks and more opportunities for income.
Once you pick a common niche, you can think of a software the industry might need and start developing it.
You can then sell it to the public through websites like Flippa.com.
6) Job
Programming jobs are in super high demand. If you're learning coding to find a job, don't just learn the concepts, but build something all by yourself.
Having a good portfolio to show off is crucial because it proves that even if you've never worked for anyone, you have the skills to work independently.
That will eventually help you in easily landing a job!
