If you didn't get an internship this summer, you're cooked. Well, that's what last year me thought. Instead of panicking and thinking you're cooked, these three steps that I took and I managed to get an internship this summer. That's um, first things first, appreciate that you didn't get an internship. It sounds weird, but think about it. When are you gonna get a whole summer to just do whatever you want? You're not gonna get that. So you get an extra year to actually just relax a bit. So instead of panicking, appreciate what you got. The next thing is actually plan what you're gonna do in the summer. Because in the summer, if you just sit around and do nothing and become a bum, you're just gonna repeat the same thing next year. And then you'll actually be cooked. If there's a certain skill that your job needs, learn it. If it's possible to do projects at home, do it. In my case, what I did, I made my own mobile app. The app is called Goobies, it's all over my account. I can do a separate video talking about making projects that have actual real-world use cases. As well as doing all these extra things, also work on fixing up your interview skills. Fix up your CV and make sure you're on top of things for the next round of applications, which would be around July, August, September and so forth. And if your LinkedIn is absolutely crap, fix that up because you can literally get recruiters messaging you. So you're not cooked. Just do these things, enjoy your summer, and you'll be good, man.
