How I got sales: Step 1- I Figured out a niche that requires a lot of time-consuming editing. Most People in the storytelling history niche require a lot of editing for their videos as practically all they show is graphics rather than their faces. Step 2- Once I found a good Fiverr editor (which was literally just a 5-minute search) I negotiated to bring up the 10 minutes of runtime for $40 he was offering to 15 minutes of runtime for the same price. Step 3- I made a list of 300 YouTubers in this niche mostly within the 10k-100k subscriber range. I found all of them through a software that lets you search YouTubers by niche and subscriber count (I’m not going to say the name of the one I used so you guys don't think this is a sponsored post but there are a ton out there if you search for it.) Step 4- I reached out to everyone on the list through the business email in their YouTube profile; almost everyone has one. There are a bunch of good scripts for what to say when offering video editing that you can find online. Step 5- Once I got emails back and I knew FOR A FACT that a YouTuber was decently interested, I created a 5-minute sample video for them. I didn’t outsource this because I have a good amount of video editing experience and wanted to make the most profit I could for the video but you should outsource if you don’t have editing experience. This is a VERY IMPORTANT STEP because it sets you apart from every other video editor reaching out to them. Step 6- Once we agreed on a price, I requested an upfront payment or used a middleman for the transaction. You’d be surprised how many of these “influencers” are willing not follow through on their payment agreement so make sure to keep yourself safe. P.S. All of the people I eventually sold to had more than 100k subscribers besides the college education guy. I noticed halfway through this side hustle that my prices were way too high for most people under 100k to be able to pay, but I still included my search for 10k-100k subscribers YouTubers in this vid because I think that's the range most beginners should start to sell in. Testing TikTok side hustles. So you don't have to. People are making over 10K a month by getting paid for services, then hiring someone else to do the services for less money, then keeping all of the profit without having to do any work whatsoever. This is called drop servicing. And I'm going to try it. The thing that I'm going to be drop servicing is video editing for YouTubers. So I'm going to be charging $20 per minute of footage edited. So to put that in perspective, that means a 15-minute video will get me $300. I just found this little scalpy bag on Fiverr who's selling editing for 15-minute videos for $40. So I'm going to use him because that's a lot less than the $300 that I'm charging. I'm searching for a bunch of YouTubers that have between 10K and 100,000 subscribers because when you're in between that range, you may not have hired an editor yet, but you still have the money for one. I've spent like the past four hours emailing 300 YouTubers, so I'm tired as fuck and I'm going to see who responded tomorrow. 48 hours later. Okay, so I just finished negotiations with two YouTubers. I can't really say their names because a lot of people don't like to learn when they've been drop serviced, but I can say that they are in the history mystery niche. YouTuber 1: $230. YouTuber 2: $200. So on the other one, I'm getting $200 for a 10-minute video. 24 hours later. I just finished talking about the college education niche and paying YouTuber 3: $150. Of course, I just don't make enough money off the vids to justify paying that much, so I can do $150 for 10 minutes. YouTuber 3: $150 for a 10-minute YouTube video. Also, I don't have time to explain how I sold all my services to all these YouTubers, so I'm just going to do it in the caption. All the videos have been edited and sent out. So if we subtract the initial $100 that I paid the Fiverr guy, I made $480. Thank you. Thank you. It's not it's not necessary at all. This is fucking no one in the room. I have a lot of prior experience in these kind of business models. So it was decently easy for me to make money.
