This ChatGPT prompt is going to help you make a killer resume that's perfect for any role you apply for because it's going to detect the most important keywords in the job description and rewrite your resume in a way that's optimized for them. I'm Celia. I've been featured on the Today Show and TIME Magazine, the Wall Street Journal, New York Post and more teaching people how to use ChatGPT and AI to make their lives easier. So let's get into it. So companies have been using AI to parse their job applicants for years, searching for the right keywords and flagging those candidates for a chance to be interviewed. And this is how you're gonna use AI to make your resume rise to the top. I'll get to the prompt in a second, but the first key thing here to understand is the attachments feature in ChatGPT is gonna be super helpful. And yes, it's available in the free version. So first, you're going to download the job description of the role you're looking for. Then, you're going to get the most recent version of your resume. Go to ChatGPT, then attach them and use these two prompts one after the other. And I'll put the prompts at the end too so you can easily screen cap them. Okay, so here's the first prompt. "You are an expert in crafting resumes optimized to make them stand out when being reviewed by applicant tracking systems. Attached is the job description to which I'm applying and my most recent resume. First, highlight keywords present in the job description that are lacking in my resume, then note which keywords may be the most difficult to incorporate into a rewrite of my current resume bullets. Finally, ask me any questions about my career experience to help you be able to incorporate those additional keywords as I will eventually have you rewrite my resume." So that's prompt number one. It will do exactly what you asked and then you use a little microphone feature on your app to quickly answer any questions about your work experience to get those extra keywords in. And after you've answered those questions, add to your next prompt "Those are the answers to your questions and here is your next task: rewrite the contents of my resume seamlessly incorporating the important keywords you originally highlighted into my bullet points accompanied by strong action verbs. Assure my bullet points are no more than 2 lines but ideally one line each and that the full resume is optimized for the job description." That's it and as promised, here's that prompt to screen cap.
