fun fact for the past six months to this has been a daily driver for the CEO of Ford. It looks like a McLaren but it's not and it's also not a car for Ford, a Chinese EV called Xiaomi. It's actually not available in the US but the CEO of Ford was able to get one and import it. The fact that they were able to come out with an EV in three years is absolutely mind-blowing. I mean, at the same time, Apple's been saying that they want to make an EV car for what, 10 years now? They just announced layoffs for all, so that's probably not coming out. I actually made on the company Xiaomi when I was in college because they were just all over the place. They started out kind of like a software company, coming out with a first product called MIUI, quickly followed by the first phone, the MI1. Then they expanded to produce laptops, tablets and etc. Many of their products did kind of look like Apple's, but unlike Apple, they took things a whole step further. Air filters, TVs, robot vacuums, even those hair trimmers. You can essentially fill an entire house with their smart products and they will all connect together in their Hyper OS. But even so, three years ago when they said to make EVs, no one actually thought they would be able to, but yet here we are today. Apple with no car and Xiaomi with a very successful SU7. So good that the CEO of Ford would say this. I drive the Xiaomi, we flew one from Shanghai to Chicago and I've been driving it for six months now and I don't want to give it up.
