You wanna know how you can tell if a couple is not gonna last? How often are they posting each other on each other's Instagrams? This is the Instagram theory. Every single time I have seen a couple that blast each other non stop on social media, their stories all the time, there's cute little photos, they're always making sure that you know when they're together, they don't last. They don't last more than six months. If they're lucky they make it to a year, and then they have the nastiest, nastiest breakups you could ever imagine. I think it's because people in healthy relationships don't need to broadcast to the world that they're in a healthy relationship. They have nothing to prove. But those that are in toxic or not the best relationships, they feel the need to get the validation that the relationship is actually something worthwhile from other people as opposed to searching for it within themselves. It should be just enough to know that, hey baby, you and me, we're all good. But some people, they need to let everybody know that the outside looks good when the inside, not so much.
