I don't think you should move to Miami until you're making 15,000 or more

I don't think you should move to Miami until you're making 15,000 or more dollars a month. This means specifically in the hubs like where I'm at in South Beach or in Edgewater, downtown, Brickell, all those kinds of places. Fully transparent, just to exist here, just to live here, I need to spend seven to eight thousand dollars a month. Additional context, I don't club, I don't drink alcohol, I don't go to parties, I don't go to restaurants almost ever. In fact, I haven't even gone to a restaurant in the last maybe six months unless it was fast casual like a Pura Vida or something. It is very difficult to find a decent spot for less than 2300 dollars a month. I spend about 3100 dollars a month. That's just on rent and utilities, that doesn't even include internet. I don't have a car, so you got a budget about 600 to 800 dollars a month on Ubers depending on how much you gotta go to and from places. Groceries are not cheap. I eat completely organic all the time, so that's usually around 200 bucks a week. The worst gyms are gonna be 80 to 90 dollars a month, but you could have gyms as high as 3, 4, 600 dollars depending on where you go. Just a cappuccino on the low end is five or six dollars, but I've seen it as high, like at the Standard, is 10 dollars and 50 cents. That's without tip. Miami also always has something happening, so there's always an event, there's always a concert, there's always other activities that you can go out and do like a sports game that are gonna drain your bank account. I've been running the math, and if my business partner and I both move out of Miami, we could probably save anywhere between 80 to 110 thousand dollars a year if we are abroad living internationally. Still have another year of my lease, so I'm not going anywhere soon, but it's something I'm certainly considering for my future just because if you gave me a hundred thousand dollar check, I know that I could grow my business even more with it. And Miami's cost of living is just a lot. It's intense, and there's other places that I'm sure I could figure it out too.
