I just got approved for the TikTok Shop in 2 weeks without meeting all the requirements. Let me tell you what I did. The first thing I did was get on this app and show up authentically. I showed up authentically as myself because it made it easier for me to make content. I wasn't worried about my background being perfect. I wasn't worried about my hair being perfect. I wasn't worried about changing my voice to sound all cute. I just showed up as myself, okay? That made it easier to put the content out. I engage with my followers. I engage with people on this app. I genuinely watch their content and leave relevant comments. The same way I want you guys to engage with my content. I genuinely watch their videos, I commented, I liked it, I shared it if I thought it was shareworthy or whatever the case may be. I actually engaged on this app. The other thing I did was I posted 1-3 times a day. I got in at the end of the second week of doing this. I took a hiatus from this app for like a month. And when I showed back up, I posted every single day for about two weeks, okay? The other thing I did was I got past my fear and I started going live. Okay? I think that TikTok realized like, oh, she's serious about being on here. They started opening the door for more things, like the TikTok shop. But please take me as an example. I don't even consider myself a content creator. I'm just a girl that likes to make funny videos, educational stuff every now and then. So please, just show up, post the content, stay consistent, engage with people, make friends, do whatever, do all those things. And I promise you, it can happen for you too.
