I want to be so rich that I don't know what to do with my money. There's this creator named Maggie Sellers. She has two videos that I go back and watch frequently that absolutely changed my mindset. It's how women control 80% of consumer spend. And the video was that we know what the next big consumer trend is going to be because we control it. The second video was on Lucky Girl Syndrome and it's how men actually have this Lucky Girl Syndrome and it's because they just go for things, they assume it's going to work out even if they don't have any proof to back it up, whereas women always have this doubt, a lot more conservative about their decisions. That's when it kind of hit me that I'm like, I know when a brand is going to do well because I am their market, I am the consumer. Even a stupid dumb example, but so long ago I posted a TikTok being like, these are my favorite creators. It was Halley Kate, Alix Earle, Mubi, a few other people. Halley Kate and Alix Earle had not yet blown up yet. Look at both of them now, signed to Barstool and Unwell. And I love this Maggie Sellers girl so much because first of all, she went to Western, she's Canadian. My motivation, if you will. And I have zero financial literacy, guys. I invested for the first time this year. I was never taught anything about money. I am a single successful woman that could be doing so much more and that's why I've been trying to educate myself. As a woman, I'm not as empowered. Let's talk about that kind of shit at the dinner table. If more women felt empowered to think this way, think how much more successful women would see. I know I sound like a broken record 24/7, but like it is so understated how much power women have. We constantly underestimate ourselves because we aren't told of this power and this value and this unique perspective that we have. Men work in finance, men invest, men do the stocks, the men take care of the finances. Who do you think pays the rent? Who pays these bills? Me. Ladies, like we shape industries without even trying, but more importantly, without knowing it. They don't tell us how much power we have because we would take over. So let's get on it. And I know that so many women are in the same position as me. This is my whole why, this is my whole goal is to empower and inspire women. I don't come from a rich family. Everything I've done, I've done for myself, I've built for myself, I've learned for myself. It's hard, shit's not easy, and it would be nice to have a step ahead in life and to have already known these things. I literally feel like one of those people selling a financial course right now. But we're raised to be careful, to doubt ourselves and to second guess everything we do. Not anymore. Just imagine if we stopped playing so small and started backing ourselves like men do. Power in the court.
