They say what you don't know can't hurt you, but your bank account begs to differ. So here are three financial books that every woman should read who is ready to get their finances in order and become financially literate, responsible, and start building wealth. The first book is The Automatic Millionaire by David Bach and this book does a great job of explaining the concept of pay yourself first. It touches upon retirement planning, it gives examples of ordinary people who have built wealth and retired millionaires, and also touches upon emergency funds and a whole bunch of other things. It is not a big book and it is great for individuals who just kind of want to dip their toe in the water of financial literacy. The next book is I Will Teach You To Be Rich by Ramit Sethi and this book, 10 out of 10, 100 out of 10. It is no fluff, straight to the point. Your feelings will get hurt and he touches upon everything. He touches upon credit card scores, debt repayment, what kind of credit card to choose, he touches upon investments, and he basically just shuts down any excuse you could ever have to not get your finances in order. 10 out of 10 would highly recommend. And it also is not a big book. The last book is Girls That Invest by Simran Kaur and I would recommend reading the first two recommendations first because this book specifically touches on investing, but she does a great job of breaking down what is investing, why it's important to invest, the power of investing for the long run, what is a stock, what is the ETF, what is the stock market. She breaks down everything to the very basics. So for my ladies who are getting ready to invest and start building generational wealth, 10 out of 10 would recommend. All right y'all, so these are my top three recommendations and you should be able to find these books in multiple places. Try your library, Amazon, Indigo, if you have any discount book stores in your area or even online, you should be able to find at least one of these in those stores.
