So Black Mirror Season 7 episode titled Common People. If you've played any kind of video games before, PlayStation Plus or whatever in, you know where, um, so when, per here died, she was about to die. Tracy here shows up and tells you can put your wife's consciousness, you know, into these servers and will keep her alive. Remind me of Pantheon, but if you never seen Pantheon into that then he's paying a subscription to keep his wife alive. Now granted, it's not that much when you think about it on a yearly basis, but you are, you're paying a subscription to stay alive. Can you imagine? We have to pay to stay alive? We're paying just to get by, you know, the house to live, the needs, all the stuff that we got to do to get things done, you know, bills and whatnot. But he's worth they're working so she can stay alive. And then you have to subscribe to higher tears for a better life. And then as you reach that better life, that is now the standard and you have to subscribe higher. It's like it's they made an episode about literally keeping up with the Joneses. Every platinum or premium luxury was now the standard and she was just out of touch. Died anyway. He never really grieves his wife when she first technically died. So he had to eventually, uh, grieve her anyway. But then he killed her. The impression she, if the subscription stops, but I guess keeps her alive. So he just get it over with. Either way, that was a hell of an episode.
