sharing *some* of my stats/ecs/awards- accepted into 25~ colleges out of 34 (NYU, Boston Uni, USC, Purdue, Case Western premed, northeastern, UC San Diego, UC Berkeley, UC Irvine, UC Davis, UC Santa Barbara and UC Santa Cruz regents scholarships + every CSU) 150k+ in all college scholarships *class of 2028!* stats: bay area asian high income weighted a-g 10-12 gpa: 4.33 top 10% of class in 884 students biomedical academy all 4 years 34/35 ACT perfect score 1490 SAT weighted classes: 10 AP's 3 Honors goal fields: public health neurobio premed/pre-pa awards: HOSA first place INTERNATIONALLY after winning first in regionals and california state continued awards: 2 national awards -> volunteer + collegeboard 1 state award hosa 4th 1 school award in biomedical academy main EC's: founder of social movement and initiative on OCD awareness since freshman year-> i personally had OCD, tied my personal statement to this led 300+ students in graphic design, research, and social media marketing incorporated our own OCD researched curriculum in 9 different school districts. presented to ~30 middle schools THE OCD TRUTH Here's what we accomplished so far... co-founded workshop series on teaching students first-aid knowledge in case of emergency like school sh00tings, taught bleed control and got on local news. hands on practice with our kits. then by myself: reached out to school admins and national/state congressmen on supporting bills related to preventing school sh00tings so prevelant in california, USA in general alzheimer's and parkinson's druug development wet lab research presented at expo in front of college professors and industry professionals intern at stanford medicine asian liver center: presented to AAPI communities on importance of catching hepatitis b and liver cancer fast, vaccination and screening addressed social stereotypes on hepatitis b over summer: was a team leader at the stanford asian liver center youth conference. (did team leader again summer after grad) led 10 students to develop project on public education about hepatitis b, proposed a clothing line and screening site locator website medical assistant extern at a stanford hospital gastroenterology office for a school year in HOSA officer board for 3-4 years language hub: connected student tutors with students for learning new languages secretary -> vice prez -> prez helped raise money during annual school culture day by selling food -> money went to curriculum dev stanford medical school cardiothoracic surgical internship: -proposed immunosuppressant development for cardiac cancer transplant surgeries korea daily/new york times internship: -wrote/published articles on varying cognitive disorders mainly OCD and ADHD - developed magazine with team NHS Scholarship decision after submitting college apps i continued working and updated colleges... esp ones i was waitlisted at won a bunch of prestigious national honors society scholarships! continued building my organizations
