China just discovered

China just discovered an infinite energy source and they're saying they can power their entire country for over 60,000 years. China says it's due to a new radioactive element that they found in their minds. This new element is called Thorium and they can use this material to make new nuclear power plants. Usually nuclear energy requires uranium, which is quite rare. China says they can replicate the uranium using Thorium. Said Thorium themselves, they can actually power the planet with this new energy source. Now, China said quote, "wars have been fought for years over fossil fuels. It turns out this endless energy source is lying right beneath our feet." If you don't know, this element is actually quite common. It can be found all over the world and it can be used in place of uranium for creating energy. In fact, it creates over 200 times more energy than uranium does. It creates far less waste and far less risk of anything actually going wrong. And because of this, China has already started assembling the world's first plant utilizing Thorium.
