she knows im posting this btw, but hope it gives you some perspective that your parents will likely never fully understand what you’re doing at any stage, and that isn’t a bad thing. they simply don’t know what they don’t know and that doesn’t mean you have to combat them on that fact. simply put, go put your words into actions and have something tangible to prove what you say, otherwise even I wouldn’t believe your goals or aspirations because most people say so much yet do so little. how can you ever get your parents to understand when you don’t do anything lol. Do you even deserve their acknowledgement of your aspirations?
