I'm a Latina building a startup app as a non-technical founder and I'm here to document my journey for anyone who wants to learn and grow alongside me. For context, I work in big tech at TikTok in New York City, but my background is not in tech, not in business, and definitely not in coding. For a long time, I let that hold me back from building the app that I've been dreaming about. It's an app designed to help busy city commuters juggling multiple plans throughout the day find a third place to reset in between their plans. You don't need a technical degree to get into tech or to build something great. As a step one, I started researching my market, busy commuters like myself, to see if this is a problem that's really worth solving. So in my next video, I'll dive into what I learned.
