Snap them out of autopilot. Psychology of hooks, sa content. Contrast. When people are scrolling sa feed, naka-autopilot sila. 'Yung subconscious nila 'yung nagpi-filter na gusto ko ba 'to or hindi. Your goal is to snap them out of autopilot at maging conscious sila sa pinapanood nila and you do that through contrast. The gap between what they expect and what you gave. The wider the gap, the higher the tension na mapapa-snap out of it sila and say, 'Uy, ano 'yan?' Kasi may assumption na sila eh. Kaya nagwo-work 'yung pattern break. Ang goal mo is ma-show mo na this is not just another content. So first frame of hook to first three seconds, it should be intuitively and immediately understandable. If they don't understand, they scroll. Ayaw na natin mag-burn ng calories when we are distressing while scrolling. So pinipindot mo pa sila, hindi nila alam sa unang titingnan. They don't understand it. Value compression. Say more with less. Show, don't tell. Feels like a punch, short, tight, and impossible to ignore. Especially for hooks ng reels. Ang audience mo dito are not intentional watchers. They are serendipitous scrollers. Curiosity gap. A great hook creates questions sa minds nila na kailangan nilang manood para masara 'yung loop. Cuz a hook is a promise. Finish that loop satisfying you. Pa-check sa profile mo to follow. Audience mirror. Say what your audience are thinking but not saying out loud. This builds instant trust and make them feel seen. Maitimip agad nila para sa akin 'tong content na 'to. Learn more about this, join Passionate Creators Community. Meron akong webinar about it na deep dives on designing your own hook.
