261 days ago, I posted my first video declaring I wanted to start chasing my dreams by trying to build a software company so I can convert a school bus into an RV and travel a country as an entrepreneur. A lot has happened since then. But I'm back. I have a prototype for an app that I've been building and it works and I'm really excited to share with you guys. The app is called Square Up and it's a super simple expense tracker that automatically tells you who needs to pay who, how much money. So that at the end of the weekend, one person doesn't get stuck funding everything and everybody can contribute an even dollar amount towards whatever you were doing. Whether that's a birthday party or a weekend with friends at a cabin. Check it out in three simple steps. Create a group, then invite your friends via email just like that. And now you're ready to start tracking expenses. Once your friends get the link in their email, they can create an account and accept your invitation and see everything that you've added as well as start adding their expenses. And boom. Just like that, everybody's expenses are in one place and it tells you at the top how much the group has spent total and how much each person needs to contribute. The cool part is, if you go to the settlements page, it will actually tell you exactly who needs to pay who in order to square up. And you can upload receipts and view them just like that. And it works great on your phone so you can track everything on the go. Right now, I'm finishing up the website and I hope to make it live within the next week so that real people can start testing it and providing feedback.
