A new Stanford study shows that employment for 22 to 25 year olds in AI impacted jobs like software development and customer support has dropped by 16% since late 2022. And that's not a small shift. That's a career pipeline collapse in real time. Why? Because AI like fresh grads has plenty of book knowledge but no real-world experience. And employers, they're choosing algorithms over entry level hires. While older workers with hands-on skills are still safe for now. Stanford economist Eric Brynjolfsson says that this is the fastest and broadest labor disruption he's ever seen, only comparable to the overnight shift to remote work during COVID.
