4 toughest universities to get into in South Africa. We're gonna look at how many students apply to the university and how many get accepted. So we will rank them based on acceptance rate. Expected this one to be no. 1, but at number 4 we have University of Cape Town or UCT with over 92,000 applications and acceptance rate of 4.8%. This means that out of hundred, less than five people get selected to get into UCT. At number three we have University of Witwatersrand. They get 146,000 applications and have a acceptance rate of 4.2%. So that's basically four in every hundred applications that apply to Wits make it in. At number two we have UJ or University of Johannesburg. UJ gets 240,000 applications every year and the acceptance rate sits at 3.75%. That's basically three people out of 100 people that get accepted. At number one we're sitting with the University of Pretoria. UP gets a shocking 355,000 applications in a year and they only accept 2.5% of them. So that's it. We have UP, UJ, Wits and UCT. Which university are you applying for in the coming year?
