Google will eat OpenAI's lunch. Google is the cheapest trillion dollar company in the world. Alphabet, the company that owns YouTube, Google, DeepMind, Waymo, Android, and Google Cloud is traded at a price to earnings ratio of around 28. That's lower than the S&P 500 average and way lower than Microsoft sitting near 36. But here's the thing. Google invented large language models, DeepMind is making insane progress in A.I. and quantum computing. Waymo is the farthest ahead in self-driving and YouTube. It's straight up eating television's lunch. Social, entertainment, and distribution all rolled into one ecosystem. Right now, Wall Street's pricing Google like it's just an ad company, but under the hood, it's a compounding snowball of trillion dollar investments in A.I., cloud, quantum robotics, and media all rolled into one ecosystem. And others are growing fast, but even without search, Google's empire is future-proof businesses. I know everyone's obsessed with OpenAI and Anthropic right now. They're shiny, they're dropping new models and products every month. But when you look at what's actually happening behind Google's quietly setting themselves up to dominate. I'm not saying they'll make the flashiest A.I. tools, but if we're talking who actually wins long term? Like who ends up owning the infrastructure, the data, and the distribution, I wouldn't bet against Google.
