Google released Anti Gravity today. It's a new code editor for software engineers. Here's what I think it means for the future of work. My name is Zane. I talk about the human impacts of AI. Google's new code editor is relevant not just for software engineers, but because it's a recognition that our interfaces are gonna need to change and that A.I. Is gonna be handling more and more of our work in the background in the future. We're seeing more and more products move to this model where And agents do more of the work while we observe. This requires a fundamental rethink of the user interfaces and experiences that we have today. Our code editors and all our software was designed for us to be doing the work and manually making changes. As A.I. Takes over more of the work, our interface starts to look less and less like a editor and more and more like a control panel where we can oversee our A.I. Team. This will affect not just code editors, but all forms of software. This is also a reflection of how our role is changing from doing the work to reviewing and overseeing the work done by AI
