Everyone's talking about how generalists are going to be the big winners in AI. But I actually think it's going to be the multidisciplinary people. If you're new here, I talk about the human side of AI. Generalists tend to know a little bit about everything. But if we look at the real winners in AI so far, it's actually the domain experts that are getting the most out of it. Take Vibe coding for example. The people who are getting the most out of it are not the technical engineers who are domain experts over here. But the senior developers and software engineers who are domain experts over here. These are the people that actually know enough to guide AI and that's why they're seeing the biggest gains. As we look ahead, I think the biggest winners of all will actually be over here. These are the people that go beyond their core expertise to build up knowledge across multiple disciplines. Think of the technical engineer who also understands design, or the designer who also understands business. Some of the best CEOs and operators I've seen are really good at being able to go deep across multiple disciplines. To do this well, you don't need to be an expert at everything. You just need to be curious and learn enough to ask the right questions.
